Jeep Overland Outdoor Shower Setup Guide In 2023

If you take your Jeep for weekend Overland trips or extended Overland expeditions, a good Jeep outdoor shower setup allows you not to be limited to Overland zones with shared facilities, lakes, or streams you can comfortably drive your Jeep anywhere and rinse yourself off with your outdoor shower set-up. Giving you the freedom to move and enjoy off-grid camping and travel.

If you are into Jeep Overlanding and Jeep Camping, you know the importance of having the right Jeep Overlanding gear is key to making sure your Overland trip is well organized, comfortable, and enjoyable, one of the key essential items that most Jeep Overlanders overlook is Jeep Overland Outdoor shower Setup.

Like any other beginner to Overlanding, we started by Overlanding on the weekends near outdoor shower facilities and later progressed to only visiting camping grounds where there are streams and lakes such as Wawona Campground and Yosemite National Park, but we wanted more, we wanted to enjoy primitive camping and tour some of the most remote Overland destinations in the United States, and for this to happen we needed a hustle free outdoor shower setup.

That’s where our Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup journey begins, we started by making sure we had Jeep water storage solutions, and we made some mistakes such as carrying lots of water which were adding more weight to our Jeep, and we had to calculate how much water we need in a day for outdoor showering (which is one gallon per day which includes the water we needed for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene), carrying lots of water affected our Jeeps gas mileage and handling especially on rough terrains.

Another mistake that we learned through trial and error is choosing the right overland outdoor shower setup, we would buy outdoor shower kits which will work fine when in the store or after a few days, and when we try to use them when we are off the grid, the outdoor shower fails on us, some of the factors that we consider in an outdoor shower set-up are water pressure and leaking outdoor showerheads.

Luckily, we have gone through all this so that you won’t, we have tried some of the best outdoor shower setups over the years, and below we will lay out some of the best Jeep Overland outdoor shower setups for your Jeep Overlanding and Camping needs.

Jeep Overland Outdoor Shower Options: Solar, Electric, or Propane?

When it comes to Jeep Overland outdoor shower options, we narrowed down the most suitable options are either solar, electric, or propane setups for hot outdoor showers that you can use for outdoor camping or Overland trips.

Each Jeep Overland outdoor shower option has its advantages and disadvantages, to make sure you are choosing the best Jeep outdoor shower set-up for you, you will need to make sure that the outdoor shower system is portable and also can be used when traveling in your Jeep, and your water requirements. A functional Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup should meet all you need.

Jeep Solar Outdoor Shower Setups

Jeep solar outdoor shower setups make use of the sun to heat the water for our outdoor showering needs, they are the most budget-friendly options, light and small, have low running costs reduce, and it’s also eco-friendly options.

Best Solar Camping Outdoor Showers

There are a lot of solar camping outdoor showers available in the market, Solar-heated outdoor showers are the best outdoor shower options that we recommend and use, this is because you use natural means to heat your outdoor shower water. These are the best camping outdoor showers because they are simple to set up and use, the only disadvantage with this kind of setup is that you will require sunlight to heat the water, so they are not recommended for winter camping.

When selecting a solar camping outdoor shower setup that should be mounted on your Jeep, it’s important to make sure your Jeep is ready to handle the setup, for example, you should purchase a roof-mounted outdoor shower setup if you have a roof rack on your Jeep.

Yakima Road Outdoor Shower
Jeep Overland Outdoor Shower Setup

In our Jeep we have 10 gallons Yakima Road outdoor shower installed, it takes three to four hours to heat our outdoor shower water to 100F when it’s a sunny day, on a cloudy day it takes much longer, however, we can heat the water and add it to the reservoir to take a hot outdoor shower.

The 10 gallons of water last about 10 minutes, it takes us 10 minutes to outdoor shower when camping, our number one trick that we have been used to is to leather up, rinse quickly, and turn the water off when we don’t need it.

Yakima road outdoor shower pressurized water reservoir comes in three sizes, 4 gallons, 7 gallons, and 10 gallons like ours, if you are a weekend camper, the 4 gallons is enough for you, a couple can make use of the 7 gallons, or 10 gallons depending on the duration of their Overland expeditions, it’s a lightweight outdoor shower, when empty and also when it’s full and ranges from 53lbs-120lbs when full and 20lbs when empty.

The Yakima Road outdoor shower comes with a thermometer that allows you to check how hot the water is before using it, to mount the Yakima Road outdoor shower system on our Jeep, we had to purchase an EXO road outdoor shower kit separately to fit the outdoor shower set-up on the rood of our Jeep roof rack, the Yakima fits perfectly with the mounting kit through the existing T-Slots on the Yakima road outdoor shower, we believe this is the best way to mount the outdoor shower system on the roof of your Jeep.

Yakima Road Outdoor Shower Mounting Kit.

The good thing with the Yakima Road outdoor shower is that it improves the aesthetics of your Jeep, and since it’s so attractive to people who might be interested in it, it has a lock so you don’t have to worry about it being attractive enough to be stolen, it’s compatible to most roof rack brand you have mounted on your Jeep roof.

Now that the Yakima Road outdoor shower is mounted on the roof of your Jeep, you will need a private outdoor shower tent that’s not like any other, you will need a car-side outdoor shower room, for us we use and recommend the Nomadic Car Side Outdoor Shower Room which can be mounted on the side of your Jeep for privacy when outdoor showering with the Yakima Road Outdoor shower mounted on your Jeep roof.

Our Top Pick for a Shower Room.

The Nomadic Car Side Outdoor Shower Room is a luxurious outdoor shower tent with enough room for 76″L x 42″W, it has steel poles and can be easily folded on the roof rack of your Jeep after use, it comes with a waterproof storage bag that keeps it protected from dust, and other elements that can damage it when off-roading.

Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower

If you don’t want a fixed water system such as the Yakima Road Outdoor shower, you will love the Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower which is more basic than the fixed camp outdoor showers that need professional installation on your Overland vehicle. Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower is manually pumped with a foot pump to pressurize water from the 2.9-gallon tank, the foot pump rests on the ground and with occasional pumps, you can pressurize enough pressure to last you 5-7 minutes.

The black color of the Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower helps absorb heat from the sun more efficiently, It took us 3 hours to get the water heated from the sun when using the 11 Liter – Dark Verglas Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower, and more than 3 hours when using the 22 Liter – Black/Apple Green Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower.

When it’s cold and there is no sun to warm up the water, we normally warm the water on our campfire, or our portable stoves and add the warm water to the Helios outdoor shower water reservoir, in case we are late and the water is in already cold when we reach our camping grounds, this is what we do for late night outdoor showers.

We also bought the NEMO Heliopolis Privacy Shelter that allows you to have privacy when using the Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower, just like the portable Nemo outdoor shower, you can set up your outdoor shower any place that you want and have privacy when outdoor showering and a private dressing room.

The reason that we love the two outdoor shower setup kits is that they are made for each other, inside the NEMO Heliopolis Privacy Shelter we found hooks for hanging the Helio outdoor shower hose, and there are enough of them for your toiletries bag, and other accessories you might need when outdoor showering. What we love the most is that it has a waterproof toilet paper dispenser built in, which means you can also use the shelter for a portable toilet shelter, killing two birds with one stone.

The design of the shelter is top-notch, NEMO Heliopolis Privacy Shelter contains a No-See-Um mesh that provides ventilation while also providing the privacy you need, it also features a lockable door that allows you to secure the outdoor shower shelter when inside, the tent is secured by lightweight aluminum poles, the whole outdoor shower shelter weighs only 9 lbs. 7 oz and can be folded to 27 x 7 x 7 in for storage and transportation.

Dr. Prepare Camping Solar Outdoor shower

If you are looking for a versatile and practical Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup Dr. Prepare Camping Solar Outdoor shower kit might be the perfect Overland outdoor shower for you, Dr. Prepare Camping Solar Outdoor shower is gear for weekend Overlanding trips and can be used for a couple of using 1 gallon each per day, it features a 4 Gallons/15L water bag, pressure foot pump and a handy nozzle.

Similar to the Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower, Dr. Prepare Camping Solar Outdoor shower features a black design that makes it effective in warming up your outdoor shower water in just three hours of placing the water bag in direct sunlight, making it an eco-friendly choice for Jeep Overlanders.

The long hose of the outdoor shower is designed for easy and convenient use, its water storage bag has a water level window level that allows you to see the water level for management purposes which is a must when Overlanding, to get water out of the water storage bag, you will have to use the foot pump to pressurize the water on the storage bag, the innovative feature of the Dr. Prepare Camping Outdoor shower contains a water valve that prevents water from flowing back to the water pump.

Unlike the Nemo Helio Portable Pressure Camp Outdoor shower, you will not find a specifically made shelter for the Dr. Prepare Camping Solar Outdoor shower, the best shelter we could find was the Wakeman Portable Pop-Up Pod which is (L) 40″ x (W) 40″ x (H) 75 and can be used as a dressing room, outdoor shower shelter, or a bathroom tent.

The Wakeman Portable Pop-Up Pod is easy to set up, you just open the carry case and the shelter will pop out, it’s so easy to set up right, now when it comes to tearing downs it’s a bit hard it took us 10 minutes to put it back, we recommend making sure you set-up the Wakeman portable pop-up pod on a flat level surface for easier set-up and to stabilize your outdoor shower enclosed space.

We also bought a PAHTTO Portable Camping Toilet that fits perfectly in the Wakeman Portable Pop-Up Pod, that’s why we did recommend always making sure your setup your pop-up pod on a flat surface, adding a portable camping toilet to your setup provides a convenient and hygienic solution for your bathroom needs while Overlanding in your Jeep.

You can fold the PAHTTO Portable Camping Toilet in seconds for easier storage in your Jeep, for proper hygiene practices the portable camping toilet has a toilet paper holder, its also easier to clean after use, unlike other portable toilets with 12 support sides, PAHTTO Portable Camping Toilet has six made from premium ABS plastic which makes it sturdier and easy to clean.

Electric Jeep Outdoor Showers

We have also used electric outdoor showers, and to be honest they offer a much more reliable and controllable stream of hot water for outdoor showering, however, if you have an electric Jeep that has limited power storage, or you have other Overland accessories that need the power to run as communication and navigational equipment’s, you will need to upgrade your power storage system to run an electric Jeep solar outdoor shower setup.

We have Jeep roof solar panels installed in our Jeep, which means we have lots of power for an electric heated outdoor shower setup, we also frequent California camping grounds, and as you all know California leads the way in photovoltaic installations due to the favorable weather conditions, the cost of setting up a solar panel for the electric outdoor shower has a high initial cost due to the costs involved in installing a Jeep Solar setup.

You can also use your Jeep solar panels system to power other electronic Overlanding accessories such as your iPad, Phone, and Camping lights you can also use it to heat your outdoor shower water. Unfortunately, the costs of installing a solar camping outdoor shower are high because you have to purchase and install a Jeep solar system, but in the long run, the costs of maintaining and operating a solar camping outdoor shower are low.

Best Jeep electric Outdoor Shower Kits.

The benefits of electric outdoor showers over solar outdoor shower set-ups are that you can get hot outdoor showers on demand, and you don’t have to rely on the sun on warming your water, this kind of set-ups is convenient and highly recommended for winter camping and Overlanding in places with limited sun exposure.

Before listing our favorite Jeep electric outdoor shower kits its important to remind you that electric outdoor shower kits can put a significant strain on your RV battery power, that’s why we do recommend having solar panels installed to power up your Overlanding and Camping accessories and gear separately, we don’t recommend electric outdoor shower setups to Overlander who have limited power resources or intend to sue their electrical Jeeps battery to power their electric outdoor shower kits.

If you intend to upgrade your Jeep power resources or have an auxiliary battery, here are the best electric outdoor shower kits that we do recommend for your Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup;

Geyser System Portable Outdoor Shower

We bought both the Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor shower system and the no heater outdoor shower system to compare the two portable outdoor shower kits, our point of interest was how long it takes to get the two outdoor shower systems to provide us with hot water, ease of use and how convenient it would be to use the Geyser System Portable Outdoor shower during our Jeep Overland expeditions.

One of the unique distinguishable features from other Overlanding and Camping outdoor shower systems that we will review here is that the Geyser System Portable Outdoor shower instead of having an outdoor shower head features a scrubbing sponge with different textures on both sides, has a course texture and the other one has a soft texture for different use scenarios.

Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor Shower System.

The Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor shower system comes with an automobile auxiliary power outlet that you will need to plug into a 12 volts power source to power the Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor shower system, the cable is 16 ft long which means you can set up your outdoor shower shelter a bit far from your Jeep Overland rig or your camp tent, the power will be used to pressurize the water and also heat the water in less than 5 minutes.

When connected to a 10 amperes power source it took the Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor shower system to heat the water in less than one hour to heat the water, unfortunately, there is no temperature control feature for you to control the temperature of the water, however, you can control the pressure of the water through an adjustable flow valve located on the hose of the Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor shower system for water management.

Geyser System Portable Outdoor Shower System Without a Heater.

Geyser also has a Geyser System Portable Outdoor Shower System Without a Heater, unlike the how outdoor shower system, you will need to warm the water separately and add it to the geyser water reservoir to enjoy a warm bath. The Geyser System Portable Outdoor Shower System Without a Heater is cheaper compared to the hot outdoor shower system.

You will also need to power the Geyser System Portable Outdoor Shower System Without a Heater because power is needed to pressurize the water.

Geyser System Portable Outdoor Shower System Water Storage

The Geyser System Portable Outdoor shower is great for solo campers because it’s a small portable outdoor shower system that has a water volume of 3 liters or 0.8 gallons, as we have experimented you will require a gallon of water when camping with good water management to last you a day.

With limited water storage since the Geyser System Portable Outdoor shower of 0.8 gallons will not last you more than a weekend, for this reason, we recommend purchasing a water storage container separately if you need more water for your Jeep Overland if you have no access to a water refills source such as natural water sources such as rivers, lakes or tap water.

For families, couples, and solo campers who are looking forward to an extended Overland expedition, we recommend the DOMETIC GO 11L water storage container to accompany the Geyser System Portable Hot Outdoor shower system.

The good things about the DOMETIC GO 11L water storage container are that they are stackable, and they are rugged, and made for outdoor use, If the DOMETIC GO 11L water storage container is not the right water storage solution for you, check out our post on Jeep water storage solutions for more water storage containers suggestions.

Ivation Portable Outdoor shower

Another great option for a Jeep Overland outdoor shower is the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower, we love the portable outdoor shower for its ease of use when Jeep camping, and its sleek design. It’s a rechargeable portable outdoor shower that turns any bucket or bag of water into pressurized outdoor showering water.

With a fully charged Ivation Portable Outdoor shower, you can be able to pump water for a whole hour, which is enough to outdoors shower and use the water for other uses such as washing your Overland Jeep and washing your Pet, among others.

Some of the things you should not before purchasing the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower is that although it’s electric powered, it doesn’t have a water heater and you will require an additional water heating source, and since the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower transforms sink or bucket water into the instant outdoor shower, you will need a water heating source that has the same characteristics and that’s why we do recommend the JESTOP Anti-scalding Bucket Heater to accompany the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower to warm your outdoor shower water.

The JESTOP Electric Immersion Water Heater includes a Digital LCD Thermometer that will allow you to monitor your water temperature for electric conservation while camping, the best thing about this water heater is that when relaxing on your camping chair as you wait for the heater to warm your water, you don’t have to worry about the heater melting your plastic water containers as the heater doesn’t get hot outside.

One thing you should note and be wary about when using a water heater is that it uses a lot of electric power, you will need to have a reliable power source or backup water heating source.

The way we like using the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower during our Jeep Overland expedition is by heating the water using our campfire, or propane stoves and pouring the warm water into a bucket to take a warm outdoor shower as we find ways to minimize the use of electricity which is limited when camping.

KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower

KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower has similar features and design as the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower, however, the KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower features two 2200mah batteries instead of one, and this means there is additional power that doubles the amount of time you can use the KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower which is 120 minutes compared to the Ivation Portable Outdoor shower 60 minutes of use.

The reason we included the KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower in this post is because of the security features, we noticed the KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower will not allow you to pump water when it’s too hot, in fact after getting into a contract with the support, they said the portable camp outdoor shower auto shuts when the temperatures are more than 122℉, they also include two outlet sprayers, a faucet like a sprayer and an outdoor shower sprayer, making the KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower a multipurpose water source.

Another disadvantage of the KEDSUM Portable Camp Outdoor shower is that you cannot submerge the whole outdoor shower kit into the water, and the batteries are not waterproof which is on the opposite side of the hose.

Propane Jeep Outdoor showers

Now propane Jeep outdoor showers are also used by Jeep Overlanders, who combine the use of propane gas for cooking and heating water, Propane outdoor shower is powerful enough compared to electric and solar outdoor showers, however, you will have to undergo the costs of filling up your propane gas increasing the long-term running cost compared to owning a solar outdoor shower setup.

Propane Jeep Outdoor showers are more expensive compared to Jeep electric and solar outdoor showers, this is because you will need a propane water heater installed, install a water supply system routed to the propane water heater to your installed outdoor shower head.

We recommend Propane Jeep Outdoor showers to Jeep Overlanders who are looking for a fixed and permanent Jeep outdoor shower system installed on their Overland rig, and those who go into extended Jeep overland expeditions. Below we have listed some of the best Jeep propane outdoor shower systems we recommend to Jeepers who are into Jeep Overlanding and camping.

Best Jeep Propane Jeep Outdoor showers

In consideration for the best Jeep propane Jeep outdoor showers, we had to look for a propane outdoor shower system that will fit perfectly on our Jeep, and also the number of people that will be able to use the system, we also considered the heating system and factors such as tankless or tank style system were also some of the considerations for water storage since it’s for outdoor shower use we also considered pressurized water system integration into the propane system, how easy it is to set up the propane outdoor shower system in our Jeeps and also the cost of installations.

After these factors, we settled on the following Jeep propane Jeep outdoor showers as the best for your Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup.

Camplux Tankless Water Heater

We choose the Camplux Tankless Water Heater because of its lightweight, compact, and portability by weighing only 14lbs, its slim design of 11 cm that allows you to mount the Camplux propane outdoor shower on any flat surface you deem fit for it in your Jeep without occupying much space.

When installing the Camplux Tankless Water Heater we recommend mounting it in a well-ventilated area, the best place to mount a propane water heater in your Jeep is the sidewalls of your trunk. You should stabilize it and level it up when setting it up, we also recommend making sure you have secured the Camplux Tankless Water Heater securely using a bungee cord or rope to secure it.

When mounting the Camplux Tankless Water Heater it’s important to note that it’s powered by two size D batteries that you will be replaced now and then, it’s important to make sure you mount the Camplux Tankless Water Heater in a position you will be able to replace the D size batteries while they need replacement.

After mounting Camplux Tankless Water Heater vertically to properly exhaust your gases, you will need to connect the propane gas supply hose to Camplux Tankless Water Heater, it’s important to make sure your gas valve is locked when connecting the Camplux Tankless Water Heater to the gas hose to prevent gas leaks.

The next steps involve connecting the water inlets from your Jeep water storage containers and outlets to your Camplux Tankless Water Heater outdoor showerhead or any other water outlet you may connect the water outlet to since you can unscrew the outdoor showerhead easily for other water uses.

When it comes to the inlets, you will need a water pump to be installed to pump water to the Camplux Tankless Water Heater which is a tankless propane water heater, we recommend the Bayite 12V DC Fresh Water Pump which was able to pump more than five gallons of water in less than a minute.

To protect your Camplux Tankless Water Heater and your Bayite 12V DC Fresh Water Pump from being damaged by debris and other particles, we recommend having a strainer in your inlets, we do recommend the SHURFLO 1/2″ Twist-On Pipe Strainer that’s easy to assemble, clean and reassemble. Most Jeep overlanders use water from natural sources such as rivers and lakes which might be contaminated with particles that can damage your Bayite 12V DC Fresh Water Pump and Camplux Tankless Water Heater.

For a permanent Jeep Camplux Tankless Water Heater, we also recommend installing a 12V Propane Gas Detector, which will allow us to detect if there are any leaking gas pipes, it’s also a long-term investment that will notify you in case there are leaks in your Jeep Overland outdoor shower system powered by propane.

Setting up your Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup with Camplux Tankless Water Heater as we did will get you up to 1.32 gallons of 46℉ (8℃) hot water flowing at a flow rate of up to 1.32 GPM straight out of the Camplux Tankless Water Heater outdoor showerhead.

Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater Outdoor Shower System

The Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater is different from the Camplux Tankless Water Heater in that it includes a 2200 mAh battery, while the Camplux Tankless Water Heater used D-sized batteries, the Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater is rechargeable using your 12V car power outlets to power the electric pump and the LED display. The Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater water pump can pump water at 1 gallon per minute.

Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater is operated using battery and propane to heat water up to 54 °F to 125 °F (you can regulate the temperature) which can be used to take an outdoor shower, wash your Overlanding dishes, or wash your Overlanding Jeep. Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater includes an outdoor showerhead during purchase which can be replaced with a faucet for your other overland water needs.

The hose included with the Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater is six feet long which means you can place the water heater on the ground and also use the big handle on the portable water heater to hang it to a tree or any other strong surface enough to supports its ‎0.5 Pounds weight.

If you are a weekend Overlander you don’t need to purchase additional water storage solutions because the ‎ Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater comes with a 5-gallon collapsible water bag that can be refilled.

With a full battery, you can use the Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater to provide you with up to 40 minutes of heated water which is good for washing yourself several times when camping in your Jeep, the heater is powered by propane gas.

Safety features of the Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater included a child lock know that controls the settings of the portable heater, you have to press in the heater for the functions.

If you run out of power, you can use a matchstick to light the propane gas through a small fire-like hole on the front of the heater, which is useful in case you run out of power or your Jeep’s battery is running low.

It takes just 30 seconds to heat the water, which is great if you need hot water on demand when Overlanding in your Jeep.

If you need on-demand hot water for your extended Jeep expeditions and 5 gallons of water is not enough for you, you can purchase a bigger water storage container that fits your water requirements needs, for us we use the Coleman Water Carrier 5-Gallon which can be connected to the Coleman h2oasis Portable Water Heater through the included water pump connection.

The only problem we have had with the Coleman Water Carrier 5-Gallon is cleaning it after using water from lakes and rivers, and it’s difficult to wash it, that’s the reason we don’t use the container for storing drinking water.

Mr. Heater Battery Operated Propane Outdoor Shower System

We also recommend Mr. Heater Battery Operated Propane Outdoor Shower System for consideration for your Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup. There are three models to choose from depending on your budget Basecamp XB13, Basecamp XW18, and Basecamp XCW20.

What makes the product different is that the Basecamp XB13 is the least expensive and uses 6 D-sized batteries while the Basecamp XW18 and Basecamp XCW20 have an inbuilt rechargeable battery. The Basecamp XCW20 is different and can be used for permanent mounting on your Jeep because it can be powered by a 12v/dc power source.

They all use a one-pound propane tank which gets you 60 minutes of a hot outdoor shower for up to 120 minutes, but their weight is different, if you are weight cautious of your Overlanding rig due to the number of Jeep Overlanding gears on your Jeep trunk, you can opt for the lightest Basecamp outdoor shower which is the Basecamp XB13 at 14 pounds, the Basecamp XW18 15 pounds is and Basecamp XCW20 is 22 pounds.

The reason we recommend basecamp propane outdoor shower for your Jeep Overland outdoor shower setup is that it can get you an on-demand hot outdoor shower in just 30 seconds, we do however recommend purchasing a water storage container that you can submerge the water inlet into, all Basecamp propane outdoor showers are portable and you can place them on the ground or move closer to a water source.

Conclusions.

In summary, you have a lot of options for Jeep Overland outdoor shower setups, you can either opt for solar outdoor showers, electric outdoor showers, or electric outdoor showers, the option you will choose is based on your personal preferences, budget, Overland destination, budget and many other factors in which you will be using the outdoor shower.
